Hi
Is it possible for me to use one of my Sky Go 'accounts' on a laptop (that isnt mine) but rather than having to pass on my Sky account's username/password, could I not create a new Sky Go account, complete with its own username/password
Basically, I dont want to compromise my Sky account
Thanks
(It's at a relatives house but I cant be sure that others living in the house wont get my details, hence my request)

I'd say no, you obviously need to sign into your account so the Sky servers can verify your subscription and therefore, your 'right' to view the content.
Can I ask..how is anyone in the house going to get your details and compromise your account? Your also aware that you'll have to add this laptop as one of your two devices that can view Sky Go?

Of course, make a secondary account. My housemate has a secondary account that works with Sky Go and I use my main account which has bill information etc. to use Sky Go on my laptop.

    You are wrong.
You can set up users, and these users have rights to use various things on your account (like Sky Go or Sky Sports app on iPad), but as users and not the main account, have no access to upgrades or billing.
This is how some people got more than 2 logins on Sky Go in the early days, their computers originally allowed 2 logins per user account rather than 2 per subscriber (a loophole since closed).

Why not just log out after you have finished using it.
Then you would not be leaving your Sky Go account logged in.

I presume because when the OP says 'Is it possible for me to use' they mean 'can a relative use one of my Sky Go devices', therefore would need to keep them logged in.

Silly me, I should have known that. Luckily my relative isn't that picky when it comes to his Sky Go
